Edwin Stocqueler, 1829-c1857

Originally a topographical artist, Stocqueler travelled to the Victorian goldfields and recorded life on the diggings. He is best remembered for his watercolour views of central Victoria and his pictorial record of travelling the Murray and Goulburn rivers.
