The National Library Collecting Advisory Committee provides the Library with:

a. advice on its future collecting policy and delivery of information services based on the collections

b. advice on broad strategies for developing the collections including identification of potential donors of material and sponsorship opportunities

c. assistance with promoting its collections and collection policy.

Terms of reference

The panel was established to assess Community Heritage Grant applications against the criteria set out in the Guidelines for Applicants document.

The Community Heritage Grant Assessment Panel produces a list of recommended projects for funding which is submitted to the Director-General, National Library of Australia for consideration and approval.
